Welcome to Revesby Running Festival – Sunday 19th July 2026
Where every step is a celebration, every runner is valued, and the challenge is yours to define.
Back for 2026, the Revesby Running Festival promises another unforgettable day of running set against the stunning backdrop of the private Revesby Estate. With glowing reviews from 2025—praising our friendly atmosphere, top-tier organisation, supportive marshals, and medals worth running for—you can expect the same exceptional experience that has runners coming back year after year.

Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting your running journey, this festival has something for everyone. From the stuuning deer park, to the mixed-terrain trails and scenic woodland paths, every course is carefully designed to be both rewarding and memorable.

The headline act?
Our Challenge the Estate – a one-of-a-kind 10-stage endurance test that pushes both mind and body. Runners complete each stage within a time limit to move on. Make it through all 10 stages and you’ll earn serious bragging rights and one of the toughest accolades in the UK running scene. But this event isn’t about beating others—it’s about discovering what you’re capable of.

And back by popular demand in 2026: the Team Challenge (2-4 per team). Enter as a squad of friends, clubmates, or colleagues, and see how far you can go together. Whether you're working to all complete 10 stages or simply supporting each other along the way, the team atmosphere adds a powerful dynamic to the experience—and the celebrations.

If you're after something more classic, we’ve got you covered. Choose from our popular 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon distances—no cut-offs, no pressure. Just great routes, great people, and a finish line experience you’ll love.

With its deer-dotted parkland, epic scenery, and an event village full of energy, Revesby Running Festival is more than just a race—it’s a day out you’ll remember.

10K Tabbing Event – What Is It?

Relaunched for 2026, the Revesby Running Festival includes the 10K Tabbing Event — a test of endurance that blends hiking and military-style loaded movement. “Tabbing” involves covering distance on foot while carrying a weighted pack. It’s not about speed alone — it’s about resilience, pacing, and managing load over distance. Whether you’re looking for a new challenge or want to experience something different from a traditional run, this event is designed to push you in a completely new way.

Event Format

-
Distance: 10K off-road course around the Revesby Estate
-
Terrain: Mixed trails, grass, and estate tracks
-
Start: Mass start (separate from runners)
-
Aim: Complete the course while carrying the required load
-

Rules & Guidelines
To keep the event fair, safe, and true to the spirit of tabbing, the following rules apply:

1. Weighted Pack Requirement
-
All participants must carry a backpack/rucksack throughout the event
-
Recommended weights:
-
Male: 35lbs (approx 15kg) Female: 25lbs (approx 11g)
-

2. What Counts as Weight
-
Weight must be carried inside a backpack (e.g. weight plates, sandbags, water)
-
No handheld weights or weight vests (to keep it consistent and safe)

3. Movement Standard
-
Fast walking/hiking is expected — running is allowed but not required
-
This is not a pure running race; pacing and endurance are key

4. Kit Checks
-
Random checks may take place before, during, or after the event
-
Participants found underweight may receive a time penalty or be disqualified

Why Try It?
This isn’t about chasing a PB. It’s about testing yourself under load, managing discomfort, and seeing what you’re capable of over 10K.
Simple question: how well can you move when it gets tough?
